Additive for stabilizing bubbles in PVC plastisol.

By mechanical foaming, we achieve lightweight PVC products.

BYK-8020: A silicone resin-based foam stabilizer suitable for mechanically foamed PVC plastisol. It stabilizes the foam of mechanically foamed PVC plastisol, characterized by the generation of particularly fine and uniform continuous bubble-type foam structures. As a result, it provides very good resistance to compression testing. When using BYK-8020 compared to soap-based foam stabilizers, the surface achieves a dry (drier) texture, and moisture absorption into the gelled plastisol is reduced. BYK-8070: A soap-based foam stabilizer for mechanically foamed PVC plastisol. It stabilizes the foam of mechanically foamed PVC plastisol, particularly characterized by the generation of fine and uniform continuous bubble-type foam structures. As a result, it provides very good resistance to compression testing.

Use of LAPONITE products in hard water.

Very hard water causes problems with the performance of many additives used in aqueous systems.

LAPONITE products are synthetic layered silicates derived from mineral sources that also exist in nature, with some products undergoing unique chemical modifications. This product creates a shear-sensitive network structure and is used to improve the stability of a wide range of aqueous formulation products. The application fields of LAPONITE include surface coatings for household and industrial use, household and industrial cleaning agents, ceramic glazes, pesticides, horticultural products, and applications for oil fields. *For detailed information, please refer to the PDF materials.
